Message Anyone out there heard of the connection between failing injectors and the use of added ethanol in gasoline these days? Every other entry into the forum seems to be related to failing injectors.

I know that as most of our Zs, approach 130+k miles that normal wear and tear woukld probably dismiss the notion of ethanol as a problem, but is this a potential problem brewing up the road for those of us that have just replaced our injectors?

I'm gonna sound like an idiot, but for the sake of discussion, here goes....I overheard a comment that about 2 tablespoons of acitone in a full tank of gas would remove or ballance out the added ethanol and keep your injectors from gumming up. Is this true or just BS?
How about injector cleaner and how often?

Gotta....Have....More.....Boost!!!!!!
OMG that feels sooooo good!
